“Fashion Bazaar” with Rent the Runway
Students are invited to participate in make up and hair touch ups, try on and rent dresses, accessories, and purses from up and coming success Rent the Runway, and take photos with friends at a professional photobooth station. There will be a fun, cocktail party atmosphere with food from Pod, music, mingling and a raffle giveaway including access passes for two guests to the Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week presentation by alice + olivia.

PUBLISHING PANEL

This year, Penn welcomes four distinguished panelists from a variety of fields to discuss how the advent of new technology and blogging websites has affected the role of the magazine editor and the fashion world at large. With young bloggers who may have never seen a runway show commenting on new trends via the computer, the role of the fashion critic and editor has become vastly different than ever before. The panel will open to Q&A at the end, so a few lucky attendees will receive the opportunity to ask our guests questions.
